Jeff Johnson, born Jan. 20, 1955, a native of West Huntsville and Toney Alabama, departed this life, at his home, in Winchester, Tennessee on August 22, 2023.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Cleburne "Buttermilk" Johnson, and mother, Julia Bradford Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was also preceded in death by his Grandfather, General Lee Bradford and Grandmother Nellie Armstrong Bradford, his Grandfather Hugh Robert Johnson and Grandmother Bernice Fann Johnson. Also, preceded in death was his sister-in-law, Ngaire Church Johnson and stepdaughter, Johnnie Wiggins.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of over three decades, Mrs. Sherry Tipps Johnson, Mother-in-law Mrs. Lela Tipps, brothers, David Brian Johnson, Ronald Stephen Johnson, Brother-in-law Rhodney McCarley, sister Anna Jeronda McCarley, and sister-in-law, Kim Johnson. Mr. Johnson is also survived by his daughters Lorilee and Leslie Johnson, as well as stepchildren, Kristi Gunkel, Craig Cowan, and Jared Stewart.

Mr. Johnson is also survived by Grandchildren Elijah Lee Johnson E-3 CTTSN United States Navy, Simone Johnson, Lamont Johnson, and step-grandchildren, Stoney Wiggins, Savanah Stewart, Kevin (Mary) Stewart, Dylan (Samikshya) Gunkel E-5 United States Navy, Dalton (Devin) Gunkel, Aubrey Payne, Avery Payne, Ralph Navas, and Great grandchildren, Keagan and Ryder Stewart.

Mr. Johnson loved and leaves behind cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends who respected, admired, and loved him dearly. Jeff will be missed by everyone who was blessed and graced by the pleasure of his fine company. Jeff was a good man.

A memorial service will be held at Watson Funeral Home in Winchester at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Jeff 's final resting place will be at Watson Memorial Park in Winchester, Tennessee.
